A super easy, painting activity for your little one who loves the snow and painting!
Ayla showed so much interest in throwing snow into muddy puddles and watching it suck up the dirty water I knew she would love this colourful activity!

Suitable for: 2 Years +
Set up: 5 minutes
Resources
- Paint
- Water
- Squeezy bottle or a pipette and container.
The set up
Squeeze a little paint into your empty bottle or container and add water. Mix it all together and you are ready to go! Ayla wanted a few refills of the bottles so keep the paint to hand for a quick refill!
Making the Most out of the activity
This is the perfect hand workout for your little one, which really helps to support their ability to hold a pen or pencil correctly and with ease as they grow! The bottles where a little tricky a points so we did lots of work on boosting Ayla’s confidence. “I can’t do it!” was met by me saying “ready tilt the bottle down, and squeeze! You did it!”. It also offers the opportunity for you to talk about colours, distances and marks made.
As Ayla began to lose interest I then used the squirty paint to make lines in the snow which Ayla followed really well kicking the colourful snow as she went.
