Ayla loved this one, I don’t really paint my nails anymore so I let Ayla use some of nail varnish bottles I already had open but you could definitely use paint too!

The set up
Use the pen the draw around each of your hands onto the cardboard. Add the nails to the hands you have just drawn and set out the nail varnish, your princess salon is ready to go!

Making the Most out of the activity
I let Ayla explore this one without any guidance from me. Putting the brushes back into the nail varnish pots makes for a good fine motor skill work out! Once thing I did mention to her was to try and avoid getting the nail varnish on her skin purely because it wouldn’t be easy to clean off her so she was really careful! She than asked me to paint her nails, we spoke about how it felt and which colours we were using. Once I had painted her nails she was then extra careful when it came to painting just the nails on the cardboard.
